From Monday, January 19, to February 25, 2026, the SOKÓŁ FOYER Art Gallery will feature paintings by Barbara Piękoś - an artist who, with great sensitivity, is able to capture on canvas what is most precious in life.

Zuzanna Tomaś’s painting exhibition is an extraordinary poem about humanity, rendered in color and line. The artist invites us into a world where physicality meets spirituality, and a fleeting moment is captured in the painterly “field of time.”

Wacław Lechowicz - a painter and sculptor driven by passion. From March 2 to 22 the SOKÓŁ FOYER Art Gallery will present an exhibition of works by this artist from Nowy Sącz. Starting March 27, we invite you to the BWA SOKÓŁ Gallery for an exhibition by Jacek Waltoś. This is a unique opportunity to explore the work of the outstanding co-founder of the WPROST group through the lens of his signature method—a radical reduction of colors to the four elements—which is an attempt to capture the “primordial principle” of the world and find a lasting order in an ephemeral reality.

Starting Monday, March 30, we invite you to the SOKÓŁ FOYER Art Gallery for an exhibition of works by lecturers and students in the art and design programs of the Department of Art Education and Visual Arts, Faculty of Social Sciences and Arts, at the Academy of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz.

As we do every year in the spring, we are presenting a selection of works by students and graduates of the Catholic High School of Fine Arts in Nowy Sącz. The exhibition of works by Radu Şerban and Kancsura István at the BWA SOKÓŁ Contemporary Art Gallery reflects the strengthening of our partnership with the Art Museum in Cluj-Napoca (Romania), while ensuring that the highest standards of artistic and curatorial quality are maintained. This initiative is part of a program aimed at intensively promoting contemporary artistic heritage and fostering international exchange of experiences between Polish and Romanian cultural institutions.

Małgorzata Szpila’s exhibition is a remarkable fusion of traditional craftsmanship and modern design, in which the artist transforms intricate bobbin lace into light, organic jewelry pieces inspired by the natural world.
