The exhibition is fully devoted to the exhibition of the work of Michał Brzeziński. We invite all connoisseurs of the artist's art or wanting to get to know her.
Michał Brzeziński was born in 1975. Artist and video theoretician, whose main media are screen media: television, Internet, DVD. His works combine the tradition of video art and experimental film. He is one of the most dynamic creators of the Polish video-art scene, inspired by broadly understood new media. His video work is characterized by a strong conceptual and theoretical background, recently it has expanded into the category of artistic metamedas - social systems that become generators of art.

The exhibition shows the artist's latest works, including Virus Video and Mnemosyne. The play, according to Brzezinski, is a character. A sign is a material medium (medium) and an object to which it refers (meaning). Digital video, on the other hand, does not have the basic characteristics of other media (pixel is not a feature of vector graphics, and flatness of the image is not a 3D image, and each image can be printed or displayed in various ways). Thus, the features of the final form of presentation, and not the features of a digital image, are visible artifacts. In this sense, the digital image is an excellent potential - its feature is the lack of features. Brzezinski creates the concept of "d-effect" to give a double relation of the effect and defect to undermine the aesthetics of failure by introducing the notion of fake. The artist's actions on objects, paintings, artefacts of the cognitive process are aimed at blurring the obviousness of the conclusions drawn, and sometimes to the fabrication of theories that will have a social, political, religious or even mystical dimension. However, he will arise only as a result of the interpretation of the falsified fact. The FAKE ART exhibition is part of the mainstream of artistic explorations in the field of video-art and experimental film.
