Availability of the BWA SOKÓŁ Contemporary Art Gallery in Nowy Sącz
The Gallery building was built in 2008-2010. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the SOKÓŁ MCC, constituting a modern wing of the main office. It is fully adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.

DIRECTIONS TO GALLERY BWA SOKOL
We are in the city center. If you do not have your own means of transport, you can easily get there by public transport (stops - Długosza, Konarskiego and Kościuszki streets). Parking and entrance to the building are located on ul. Kosciuszko.
THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE INSTITUTION
We have a car park with no architectural barriers with a marked parking space for people with disabilities. The entrance to the building is located at the parking level.
SPACE IN THE INSTITUTION
The reception and the designated toilet for people with disabilities, which the user closes from the inside, are located at the entrance to the building. Each storey of the building is accessible via a passenger lift, each level is announced by a lector, and the buttons controlling the work of the elevator have point inscriptions and Braille.

from November 2017, along with the ANTONISZ exhibition. INTERPRETATIONS a Beacons system was installed in the Gallery and a special application was launched, enabling visitors to visit selected exhibitions for visually impaired people connected to the website

assisting dogs are welcome - there is a bowl of water in the reception for them
educational forms prepared for the current exhibition
thematic workshops organized on the basis of reservations and applications
Visiting the exhibition
It is possible to organize individual or group visits of the currently presented exhibition. The Gallery's employees will adapt the scenario of the visit to the needs of visitors.
Educational workshops are conducted throughout the school year for everyone, tailored to individual needs and the level of development or dysfunction of participants. The coordinator accepting reservations always discusses the form of classes with tutors and adapts them to the selected group.
PRICE POLICY
Normal ticket - 5 PLN
Reduced ticket (students, pensioners) - PLN 3
Group ticket (from 10 persons) - PLN 2 / person.
Family ticket (1-2 parents + children) - 1 PLN / person
Promotional ticket - PLN 1 / person every Wednesday
Workshops - PLN 5
PROCEDURE IN CASE OF EVACUATION
In the event of fire alarm and evacuation - the elevator descends or only goes to the ground floor and from this level, leave the building outside, heading for the door marked for evacuation. Visually impaired people must have a guardian to be taken out.
