"Pastellists Jubilantly” is an exhibition presenting the works of professional artists, members of the Association of Polish Pastellists, who have a particular passion for the medium of pastel which they have been promoting for many years with annual exhibitions in art galleries throughout Poland.

The Association of Polish Pastellists was founded in 1995 in Nowy Sącz, Poland by a group of artists taking part in the national pastel competition organized in the Art Exhibitions Bureau in Nowy Sącz by its Director, Krzysztof Kuliś. This town became an art centre associated with this medium and professional artists working in it from the first edition of the national exhibition and an international biennale on. Pastellists from all regions of Poland, from various creative centres, demonstrate in their works the great potential of their chosen medium as a tool of artistic expression. It is in this town that the need to integrate with their prospective audience, to share their experience and inspirations, led these artists to found the Association of Polish Pastellists. Now, in 2025, they are celebrating its thirtieth anniversary.

This anniversary exhibition gives an overview of current pastel painting by artists of different generations. Eighty seven painters, graphic artists, sculptors, illustrators, art conservators-restorers, architects, interior designers, and pedagogues present their works created using various pastel techniques.
